Learn, Network & Grow at the MTA ESP Conference
Designed for education support professionals, this conference offers a weekend of professional development, networking and fun. If you have not attended the ESP Conference in the past, get ready for a great experience.
Workshop topics include:
- College Affordability and the Cherish Act
- Health and Wellness
- Organizing and Grievances
- Understanding Autism
- Using OSHA to protect ESPs in the Classroom
NEW IN 2020
Schedule Time with MTA Staff: MTA education policy staff, retiree consultants and finance and accounting personnel will be available for individual appoinmtents to assist and answer questions about licensure and retirement plans and MTA's Finance and Accounting staff will be on hand for union officers to answer questions about financial and membership questions.
Child Care: Available for kids between the ages of two and 12 at a cost $15 per family per day.
Send an ESP for Free: Each local association or chapter may send one education support professional, who is in their first five years of service and has not attended the conference before, for free. Don't delay as your local president will need to nominate an ESP by March 6, 2020.
All ESPs are welcome.
